I’m currently in an Industrial Technology major @ Hudson Valley Community College, and I’m graduating this semester with an associates. I’ve wanted to get into Industrial Design for a while now, and I’m looking into Pratt right now. My father also lives in NYC so the location is a plus. What other schools should I take a look at? I was also wondering what other factors I should consider when thinking about transfering school. I can see that Pratt seeems like a good school, and I don’t really want to move out of state, but I’ll defnitely consider it. College makes my head hurt…

Anyhoo Pratt is good, but I’ll tell you what I told my punk brother, get outa the state man, broaden the horizons now. There are a crap load of programs across the country. I went to RISD 'cause it was a bit away from home, but close enough to drive in a morning… I was a wus though, if I had to do it again I wouldn have gone west coast or UC.
