A few nerdier snaps from yesterday.

I love the crease line on the fender of this old Bentley. An original VW R32, and a special order AMG wagon. You don’t see those much in the US.

I ironically I saw one of those Mitsubishi vans the other day. I was driving though so I didn't get a pic. Those kinds of cars just seem to soldier on here as surf wagons :-)
We tend to see quite a few Mitsubishi Delica vans around WA with BC plates. They vaguely resemble the 80's vans but have bad-ass lifts and chunky tires. Apparently they are quite bulletproof and are the BC version of the VW hippy bus or more recently the blinged-out Sprinter.

Nice (Celica) Supra!
I had one just like this in the 80s, black with the louvers, etc.
Mine had gold BBS mesh style wheels though.

The new Supra is essentially a Z4 Coupe. Mechanically it is a complete carry over with some suspension and engine tuning tweaks. The interior is a complete carry over as well with just a logo swap on the steering wheel hub. So some people are joking calling it the Z4 Coupe. Or as I call it, the Z4 Coupra :-)

I saw that a mint last gen Supra went for $130k+ at auction this weekend.

Both are rare... but the 959 shows up more so the Turbo 2 had more of a crowd :-)

It is a funny event. I almost feel bad for all the Russ Hanneman types that come straight from the dealership with their McLarens (4 of them this week) and Porsche GT3s (7 of them this week). No body cares about their new hyper cars with the dealer tags still on. We are all too busy looking at a 35 year old French hatchback.
