I've been eyeing the Eames House Bird for a while. Just found out they have the 3D model available on Vitra's website [...] Also wonder why they have the 3D data available for free?
So you can 3D print it to fit on your desk
Free low-res 3D model give-aways are actually good promotional activities, also of course because these show up in advertising renders all over the world. But it is amazing that you can download just about any 3D model of furniture pieces.
I since recently bought into the 'desk dragons' trend
and now have a classic green LEGO Majisto dragon, dino-shaped erasers and a 3D printed triceratops skull which on top of the PC isn't too much clutter.
There are about 100 other things (I have a double-deck desk + standing desk), some recent additions:
- RX100 Sony camera
- Dymo Labelwriter
- Divoom Onbeat speaker
- 3DConnexion CAD mouse
- Ginger confectionary
- Kikkerland hydrographic wood electric pencil sharpener
- 20" Water gun
