As a designer, would you prefer to be in Hong Kong and Shanghai? And what opportunities are out there?
And how much should you expect as a entry level designer?
And as I understand, the opportunity is much better in China? As manufacturing are all in China…

Actually it depends on the type of design work you want to do. While both great places in their own right, the industry is vastly different.
Perhaps some idea about what you are aiming to do would be good?
