A quick little demo on choosing the proper perspective that one of my instructors gave me in school was pretty awesome. I’ve tried to recreate it here:
I completely agree…The professors here like to show a slide with several images of a pen drawn from different angles. Just because of the location of the horizon line, the pen goes from being the size of an aircraft carrier, to the size of a house, then an 18-wheeler, a park bench, a beer bottle, and a regular pen.
