figure sketching

cud u suggest any web resouce on figure/human profile sketching to show its interaction with a particular product in the environment in which it is to be used?

I still think the quickest and most efficient source is to ask someone to pose for you, take a quick shot with a digicam and sketch over it. You can get the pose exactly the way you want.

If not, I start with stick figures, and all you need to know is the proportions of the human figure to start, which isn’t that hard.

According to those illustration kids, a typical human figure is 7 heads tall. The waist is at the 3.5th head from top down, meaning at half of your body. The hand somewhere at the middle of your thigh. I can’t remember what’s the typical shoulder width, but I’m sure you can find the rest easily online.
