I love the frequency with which you are posting. It does take a lot of time to improve, but it is an investment that pays off exponentially! I still have a long way to improve as well, but the benefits I have seen from investing the time are amazing. The best part is to not think about sketching technique as much when you are working on a real project, you can focus your attention on your ideas and not as much on line weight and perspective because that becomes second nature. The second big pay off is speed. There are many times when I get clients who have a rush, sometimes they need something in 48 hours. Or sometimes 3 clients call the same day and all of a sudden you are swamped. Being well practiced alleviates some of the stress associated with that, and gives you the confidence to deliver.

Keep working on it! I'm seeing big gains for you already. And remember, it isn't a strictly linear progression. You will have days where everything is going great, then a setback. It's ok, just keep plowing forward.
Never going to get tired of your feedback Yo! Specially when you put some real life examples :D

Some lambo vibes with these, obviously with few perspective issues.. I remember the first time I saw a book of drawing techniques and it was about cars! Mostly side views but really fun to draw when I was 15..

Playing with some chrome finish, took me 1:15 hs. Tomorrow I’m gonna finish it by showing how I designed the flow and temperature controls and maybe a 3/4 perspective view.. happy weekend everyone!

Here’s a refined version of the faucet.. also tried to show how I designed the tap (is it ok that name for the flow and temperature control?). This one took me 3 hs on SBP

Got some ideas before sleep about how to improve this donut watch concept for the #doingdonutswithcs theme on Instagram. This was my first approach a few days ago but didn’t go further:

Then decided to explore a little bit more and add some matte/bright finishes to maybe help read the time better. I don’t know, just doodles of these ideas..

“Design is easy, the hard part is to reach it” Just came up to that thought when I was drawing these seats and thinking.. do you have any favorite design/life quote?

Nice. I need to throw some seat sketches into that challenge.

I’ve been in Montreal all week, and wasn’t able to score any tickets to the Grand Prix in spite of it being my birthday :-) here is an F1 doodle anyway.

I´m back! Some power strip exploration for the last WDC.. what do you think about the cable surrounding feature? I thought it could be a good one to manage cable length.. or maybe does already exist this?
