@Tangerine: Liking your sketch in the right a lot. Quick but still effective...

2nd attempt at rendering a car on PS.....been sketching them quite a lot these days...have to say its quite hard.....when compared to products and shoes!.. :shock: .....
I know the language is not close to being BM!...but just wanted to let my brains a bit loose!

5 minute Sharpie sketch on letter size paper. My son and I started a second coloring book today. This was the first test image (plus he was able to color it). It will be a similar coloring book as the last one we did for his birthday gift bags. All new images that he art directs.

There is some really nice line quality in that sketch. The perspective gets a bit wonky in spots, but it works with the style of sketch. I'd love to see an exploration of a few dozen sketches in this style, exploring design variations.

nice paldesign, by doing that it feels like you are flushing out the composition of elements in original ways.

I know this is a styling thing, but drawing vehicles with just their rims bothers me... there should at least be a portion of a tire represented... don't get me wrong - I admire the drawing skills I'm just not a fan...

And for the sake of discussion why is that? is it because ellipses tend to be difficult to draw? if incorrectly drawn they tend to really throw off even the best of drawings?

Rendering on halftone practice. Cintiq gets really hot when I use it. Anyone else with this problem?
