Hi, Im working on a assisted living lifestyle product and I need some help sourcing a small camera just like those found in smartphones. Anyone have any experience on souring these or leads?

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

My go to source for electronics, specifically parts for prototypes and such is sparkfun, :

https://www.sparkfun.com/search/results ... t=products

For bigger orders or semi final cost estimates try one of the following:

Jameco
Mouser
Digikey

Although in my experience, once you know what company/part you need from the datasheet, it sometimes pays to just call them directly.
