this is an old one from 2010 from a project I did while at frog for Brooks. It was a women's minimalist crossfit show with integrated knit sock upper. Never went anywhere.

I always liked the orange and blue color combo. Fun concept, tube socks are sort of in now, maybe time to revisit the idea with new graphic style sock upper. Possible knit pattern.

Here is a quick peek at the tribal heel that I am working on. Inspired by the Dogon Tribe, who are thought to have ancient astronomical knowledge especially of the star Sirius. They believe Sirius is a (pair) binary star system. My idea so far plays on the outfit, jewelry and colors of their ceremonial dance dress.

Feel free to leave suggestions and or comments.
