So was I was looking at the art center website and it said most freshman are an average age of 24? Do most students study full time at another school before attending the art center? Or do they work? I would be interested in hearing who goes there, and how they started there, with previous experiances? Thanks.
most people have gone to other schools. either other art schools or regular college/university. more and more younger kids seem to be admitted to the program…but from what i’ve noticed, unless they are superstars they struggle. I have friends that have full degrees in ID already that go to ACCD now. If you’re an 18 year old fresh out of HS i would recommend going to Pasadena City college for at least a few years before getting into ACCD. Also try and take the night classes ACCD offers. They will prepare you well for all the madness.
