wide format inkjet (A1 or larger) and thick card stock

posting this here as i think the “software and technology” forum may have been the wrong place for this…

In a nutshell: I’m looking for a wide format printer with the following:
Monochrome
24” wide
roll feed
autocut
Output volume will never exceed 20 or 30 prints/week, average output will be around 10-15 prints/week
Must be ethernet ready/friendly
printing cad dwgs almost exclusively, occaisional raster printing.

Optional preferences:
some kind of nesting ability (don’t know if this exists) to fit multiple autocad drawings on one page.

we’re looking for a printer that’ll go 24x36 and accept paper stock that’s .033in (.83mm) thick. we’re a sheet metal fabricator and want the printer to do double service: print nice and big shop drawings as well as print directly on our thick card stock for scale mockups and templates.

I was just about to order the HP DesignJet 110 Plus NR, final spec sheet check showed it only takes up to .4mm. I know about the glue and mount workaround, but that’s a bit tedious.

if the thick media option is impossible, what’s the favorite out there that fits the other listed criteria?

any suggestions greatly appreciated,
r
