Who's using Keyshot now?

Any regulars in here part of a group using >1 seat of Keyshot? I have some issues with the new subscription plans and wanted to commiserate.

I use it daily. Works well for me.

Subscription price tiers changed for annual, based on ā€œindividualā€ or ā€œbusinessā€, and basic plan went up $200/seat. Getting less software for more $ but the company said itā€™s an effort to price their product correctly.

Its bad timing for them to do this, as more and more of my visualization is going thru Vizcom.

Yeah, where I was heading with this thread. I had just finished a little dive into Vizcom (a few videos, reading case studies, making slop messes) and was contemplating new workflows when this annual renewal notice oozed into my inbox. Not quite ready to cut the cord butā€¦

Also alarming Keyshot hasnt had many AI advances. Havent tapped into them recently but a year ago they seemed far behind.

Iā€™d be into an AI feature set that helped users become power users, by ā€˜knowingā€™ or approximating what the model is, and then suggesting lighting and materials to build a unique and accurate environment and CMF. Then the user can take over and understand more quickly how to tweak the provided setups. Animation could probably also benefit (I donā€™t use that much now, its cumbersome.)
