Kerry’s lies “got plenty of people killed”? You have a factual basis for that claim other than the assumption that what one guy said before Congress had any real impact on their decision-making? Give me a break.
The U.S. didn’t belong in Vietnam to start with. Everyone knows that now. And everyone knows that Johnson was lying to Americans on how the war was going. Are you now saying the Vietnam “military action” was a good thing??
And I didn’t have to get too far on that site to see how one-sided it was. “War crimes in Vietnam were actually quite rare.” Really? Based on what? The lies that were perpetrated by the two-party system to cover up the crimes of U.S. personnel? The falsified military records? The conspiratorial efforts of senior military officials to whitewash it all? I guess the Toledo Blade’s Pulitzer-prize winning expose’ of the childish behavior of Tiger Force last year (concealed for over three decades) is a bunch of lies. But WAIT, they admit doing all those things! They admit slaughtering unarmed Vietnamese civilians at random. Nice. And our generals protected these people?? Why? WHY?
And how many more cover-ups are there?
Anyone with half a brain understands that atrocities happen in war. The only difference is that Americans don’t want to see the real human toll. They don’t want to see the napalm-coated kids running down dirt roads and they don’t want to see “sand nigga kids” (apologies for using the words of some “patriots”) with limbs blown off by U.S. bombs on their television when American Idol is what they really care about. The American system is attempting to sanitize the Iraq war - no pics of coffins arriving stateside, no pics of the dead innocent Iraqi’s, etc etc. If not for lax internal security, the pics at Abu Ghraib would never have been released because the Good Guys don’t doooooo that sort of thing. Wrong.
And we don’t have to look too far to see the whitewashing happening again:
- First administration claim: Abu Ghraib is an anomoly and the work of only a couple of enlisted sickos.
Second claim: there may be a few incidents in other areas, but it’s not systemic.
Third claim: okay, we know it’s happening all over, but no senior people officially authorized it.
Moron no, chickenhawk no. PC no. Coreect yes,
Yeah, you got it all correct alright. You couldn’t even get the cost of the war in Kosovo correct. hahaha You show up making some idiotic statement comparing the two conflicts which is so far off anyone with half a brain could see the mistake. But hey, making that mistake doesn’t qualify a person as a “moron” in my book (stupid, maybe) - it’s posting it as a fact for the world to see that qualifies you as a “moron” in my view. Y’see “moron” is a legitimate term used to classify people with low intelligence. On my scale, you qualify.
btw, I didn’t say you were a “chickenhawk”. I said, “You really should learn to read for yourself instead of picking up truncated facts off some chickenhawk website.”
Let’s post this a few more times, huh? Got a message you want to send? A pro-Bush/anti-Kerry one?
If you are as smart as you think you are you won’t support the propaganda of the left or the right and will vote independent!
I’m registered as an independent while being ultra-conservative. On the other hand, your original post was so skewed with misinformed bullshit it’s obvious you’ve jumped on the blind Bush-supporting bandwagon. But hey, there have to be sheep in this world, and I guess you fit the bill. Congratulations!
But I doubt it because you’re enamored by Benedict Kerry.
Kerry is a loser. And only dumbshits assume I’m “enamored” by him. He shouldn’t have voted to support any action on Iraq until a better case was made than what the world saw given by Bush to the American people, and Powell to the U.N.
Where do these uninformed losers come from?!? They show up posting a bunch of shite like the cost or war this or the Clinton did that and sound like utter fools. Everyone should know that both Bush and Kerry are worthless. Only difference to me is that Bush… as President… has already LIED about the “facts” that led America to War (uhhh… remember the urgency that caused us to cut ties with our long-time allies? remember the Weapons of Mass Destruction? remember the ties to al Qaeda terrorists??). At this point I just want the LIAR out of office. If that means voting for another loser, then so be it. Hopefully his lies won’t be a big.
Reality check. and Mate. Now go get that burger-flipping job Bush’s “base” is holding for the “have not” class.
