Website title help

How do I apply a title to a website, so it is not titled “Untitled Document”? See the attached image below.

This title is “Core77 / design magazine + resource / home

I’m using dreamweaver to build my website.

Ya, its simple…use the tag:

Under View/Page Source, you can see how its used on the Core77 page (or any page for that matter).

For the example you showed:

<title>Core77 / design magazine + resource / home</title>

Where in Dreamweaver would I enter this code? Would I apply the code to the index page?

Modify > Page Properties>“Title” field at top of dialog box.

Or Ctrl+J (Command+J on Mac).

Not sure what version you are using, but it should be something like that. You can create a unique or identical title for each page; your choice. Index title can be different from sub-page titles, etc.

Thank you both for the help. I’ll give this a try when I get home this afternoon.

Thanks again,

Dustin, nice DVD! Man that is awesome that you have your own instructional video. I’m excited for you. I can’t wait to buy it when I get some extra cash.
