Wacom Cintiq Cable Issues

So I am sending my Cintiq back to Wacom for the second time because the cable in the back is shorting out. Has this happened to any of you? The first time it was a month old and when it was lying down flat and I rotated it, it went black. I sent it back and they gave me a new one. This time it is now 6 months old and same thing when it is lying down flat and I rotate it, it goes yellow. Do the rest of you use it in the fully down position? I know that is a stupid question, but it seems a bit strange that this has happened twice. I am now with out it for a week. Guess I will have to break those markers.

I had this problem once - I quickly realized it was happening because my cable was actually rather twisted, so when I would rotate it past a certain point it would be crushing the cable and I had the same issue (color would fade on and off).

Make sure that your cable has enough slack and that nothing behind the display is pushing against it.
