What’s up with those flashing green lights in Vancouver? And $2 coins?! And no $1 bills?!!!
But I love Smarties, can’t buy them in the U.S.
I’m one of the volunteers helping put this conference on… shaping up to be a pretty cool event.
- flashing green light means you have the right-of-way to make a left turn
- Loonies and Toonies have been around for at least a decade now; they’re more robust then paper money

Interesting, I had no idea that’s what the flashing green light meant, I was guessing it was a warning it was about to turn red.
Actually it means it is a pedestrian controlled cross walk. I know in Ontario that usually means a left turn signal…
