is anyone familiar with any website which provides trend forecasts for the fashion industry in general or the shoe industry specifically.

The information you want is usually in a trade magazine and/or cost money. This site is one of them (for the fashion industry): 404 - Page not found | WGSN

Sorry but don’t know what the trade industry magazines are. I would be curious if you do find out that information.
