Not that this isn’t a cool technical accomplishment on the order of Grcic’s Chair One for Magis, but it still seems kind of unnecessary.
Does not seem to be radically different than the stamped metal chairs I have been sitting on my whole life. Proof would be in the sitting though.
From your title I expected to see something like this one by Riccardo Blumer for Poltrona, stunningly light and stiff.
I think it is important that designers try to push the limits from what has been done in the past. If we only did what was necessary all the time where would the break trough’s happens?
It is a great looking chair.
