Anybody ever deal with any of the top recruiters in NYC? Results? Tips?
Many recruiters work remotely and do not need to be in the area in which they service. I’ve had recruiters contact me from CA working on filling jobs in NJ, AZ to NC, MN to OH, etc. The success of the recruiter depends on their relationship with that particular company. When looking for a recruiter, you should find one that you like and feel that will represent you well. If they come off as used car salesmen or rude, walk away.
Approaching a recruiter is difficult because they will not be interested in you unless they are actively working a job that you match. Recruiters will approach you and generally, they find you through sites like Coroflot and LinkedIn or word of mouth.
