I have absolutely no knowledge of product design…I come from an art background and currently draft for a pre cast concrete company after completing a building design course.
at the moment my brother and I are trying to create some prototypes for a small collection of lamps.
here’s some crappy homemade experiments
the first is a utensil container made out Tasmanian Oak and the idea was to put some leather strapping across the flat edge.
and this one is a mould I am making for a decorative hair comb…the mould is plaster and then I melted some wax into it, but the design is too narrow so needs plenty of re-thinking.
