The sixteenth International Bicycle Design Competition, sponsored by the Department of Industrial Technology , Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C. (Taiwan). It is organized by the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center.
It is open to individuals or groups. One person should represent a group. The Gold Award winner receives NT$500,000 (at present this is just under $15,000), a certificate, and a contribution for making the models. There are 20 other prizes. (All final-round contestants will receive a contribution to the costs of making the models.)
Registration for the competition open from May 1 until July 15, 2011. This date is also the deadline for submitting work for the first round…… For more information please see http://www.ibdcaward.org.
