Hi, I am a graduate in products and jewellery design from NIFT, India, i am now looking for my masters in designs and pan to work abroad only. I am trying to find good colleges with repoutation, money not much problem, though i would like to be in Europe only… please suggest. I have researched many through Cumulus but still have not been able to find out the best for me… can you please suggest me which ones are known for design or design management in Europe excluding UK? Thanks…
Thanks Dansercoer for the reply, i did check up the link you gave but it is not of my prime choice. Its more like graphic design… i want to persue mastersa in something that gives my brain an opportunity to work harder and think harder… India is a good place to be but there is not much of people who appriciates art and design as such… We are very good with our culture and heritage n all but not with design, i need to polish myself…
I read on Cumulus about “Strate college designers” and the 5 years programme, but then not many people know about it, that is the course that interests me… do you have any idea about this kind of edu in EU?
I have studied 1 semester at the ENSCI.
I had a great time there and liked the school a lot.
I would say that school has a kind of rather artistic, playful, poetic, philosophic approach to design.
It depends on what you want…
It was a very valuable experience to me, I was facinated about their way to do projects and to look at things. All this was very different to the more technical product-/ 3D-CAD-oriented industrial design I was used to from my school in germany.
I don’t know much about strate college but if you are interested in french product design schools I’d suggest to check out the ISD valenciennes.

UMEA, Sweden also attracts me… but they offer no scholorships… lets how it works out… if you know any other good schools i’ll be really oplidged to know your experiences…
