Solidworks Rendering Metal Mesh

I am trying to render a metal mesh with dimples using Solidworks 2004.

The mesh patterns are at 45degrees.

The flat surface of the mesh renders fine, but I just can’t get the mesh to render into the concave dimples.

I am using iron mesh for material. I’ve tried every setting. Some setting won’t allow me to adjust the angle. The setting where I can change the angle the grid comes out all distorted.

Any advice?
