Can anyone provide info on taking slide phtographs?

…it has been a few years…about the only dif i can recall about taking slides is that i would underexpose the shot a bit (half to a full f-stop) so the image wouldn’t washout when projected…is there something more specific you had in mind?
The easiest way to do it (save the expense of making all kinds of extras and what nots) is to take a digital picture (or scan a regular photo) photoshop it and the send it to a service like slide makers: I used to use a company called slide makers, can’t find them on the web right now, but I’ll dig for the info. My brother used them on his college app portfolios and they turned out great.
