Sketching in Alias 13

I dont know if this is the place to ask. I need to do conceptual sketches on photos taken witha digicam. I can’t figure out how/if I can import a photo as a Canvas. Has anyone anyone done that, is it possible? Or do I have to use Sketchbook (which i dont want to)…?

sure you can, i think you have to choose painting workflow and then import an image file, or just fish around in the help files, and check out the website plenty of tutorials there…
