I saw a thread on this from Back in July. Can anyone give me any objective input on Freeform Modeling or Claytools from Sensable Technologies? Are these good tools? Whats the bang for the buck? Is anyone actively using them for product work? Is there a comparable system (Haptic based or otherwise) that is a better value? I saw an on-line demo recently and it looked very useful for creating surfaces with complex texturing, patterning or other manipulation.
