us post office is made even more maddening by the workers. civil servants who really have to screw up badly to get fired.
i tried to buy stamps at the PO near me on april 14. HUGE line, PO employees moving at a creep. i plug $1 into a vending machine and it eats it. plug another $1 and i got a book of 50 2 cent stamps. i was so enraged, i stuck the stamps to the top pf the garbage can and stormed out.
solution was to goto the grocery store after work and sent it out through there. they weighed it, i paid them, no line, no hassle.
