I’m building a airplane seat foam prototype out of 2 lb EPS (Espanded Polystyrene), and I need it to be dent and ding resistant. I’ve gotten samples of 2lb foam sprayed with a polyurethane hard coat, however it takes specialized equipment (such as heated hoses and specially pressurized systems) in order to spray them.
Does anyone know of a polyurethane hard coat that can be shot with a normal spray gun and with normal air pressure? Thanks for your time.
