:astonished: Hey I would really appreciate it if someone could help me find the name and/ or a few pics of a shoe that Penny wore in (I think it was) '95. I think he was wearing this shoe before he good his 1st signature shoe or in between the Air Penny I and II

The shoe was apart of the Nike short lived “Lightweight Collection”. I have been looking around for these shoes for a while. If I remember correctly it was '95 but, it could have been '96 maybe '94.

The shoe had what seemed be coin(penny) holes on the outer side.
Kinda like hole clusters at the ankle and the frontside by the toe. I think there was also a pin stripe colorway in the Orlando Magic theme.

I do remember seeing Jordan wear them in a picture shooting a free throw around. They turned that picture into a lifesize cardboard cut out with him in a red Bulls uniform. I think he wore these for a while because, he didn’t think the AJ X was that comfortable.

MJ never wore the Xs, he wore Pennys shoes because he was being fined by the NBA for wearing the XIs in the playoff, which they deemed to be agains the dresscode.

I appreciate you schoolin’ me with that fact but, do you think you could also help me with what I was originally looking for? Either a picture of the shoe or the correct name of the shoe. :wink:

I’m 99% positive they are the Air Flight 1.0 - try a google image search and see what comes up. I had a pair when I was like 11, and man were they sweet.

Actally he did wear the X´s.

He did however, have the version that was out when he returned in ´95 changed because he wanted a cleaner toe.

Although I didn’t find anything with the Air Flight 1.0 search, the actual name of the shoe was Air Flight “One”, so thank’s for the info. Yeah, the shoe is from '95
