PEN TOOL HELP IN PS

hi,

i use the pen tool for making path,

but is there a way i can use the pen tool just for making simple curves just like in painter or illustrator? i just want the lines to stay…

help anyone?

i use PS 7.0

In newer versions you can stroke the pen tool path, not sure if that feature is in the old version you have. Just do it in illustrator and bring it in.

Take a look at this tutorial, it deals with how to use the paths tool in Photoshop. It may be some help. If not feel free to ask, and i will see if i can explain more.

thanks for helping , i found out that sketchbook pro was what i was looking for…you really have the control i need with the pencil tool…sooo neat
