Patent question...

I’m a student who cannot afford to file a patent. I’ve got an idea, how can I sell it the most secured way? I asked a professional designer, and he said there is no way to prevent your idea from being stolen unless you patent it. So that means I have to get the patent before going to any one to sell it.

Any idea how I can do it? Well, perhaps it won’t do for this time, but this will be good for future reference. I’m sure there are many others who feel the same too.

if you don’t have the money to patent it in the first place, do bother as patents are only as solid as the money backing them up. No money = your idea gets ripped off and you can’t challenge the infringment because you have to pay rent.

In the future get a lawyer who specilizes in patent searches, filings etc…
