I just made a site for a friend, still have to add in a products section, but I wanted to get some feedback on the navigation and portfolio pages before it goes “live”.
The work in the portfolio section is predominantly his, though the HOW Magazine design winner (really just an honorable mention, nothing much) was worked on jointly. He designed the interface, I just coded/sliced on this one.
Anyhow, it’s my fourth website, all image based (which I’m not terribly sure is all that great). The portfolio navigation is database based - is this a good idea for people to easily bookmark an item?
Any feedback would be appreciated! There isn’t much (yet) in terms of product design, but as soon as my 3 jobs (well, 1 of three) comes to a close, I’ll have a bit more time to work on my own stuff (which isn’t much).
