Need advice on portfolio development for college application

Hi. I am thinking of applying to CCAD for fall semester. I have an engineering diploma and I am switching to industrial design. I am not sure how I should compile my portfolio. I have a couple of renderings of machines I designed using solidworks and some jewellery I have designed for a company I use to work for.

Should I include my previous work or should I start a new compilation? I am not very good with sketching because I use to translate my messy sketches directly into solidworks

would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Most art and design based schools will want to see your sketching and drawing level. Some also like to see fine art drawing/painting. The best thing to do is to contact the admissions department at the school and ask what they look for… also, apply to more than one school!
