Ive fallen into a DEEP sketching hole >_______<

most of my classes this term aren’t very heavy on traditional sketching
we have been mostly working on photoshop and 3d software like solidworks.

Problem is…
while im on my off time, ive been trying to draw and i just cant seem to get the hang of it!

any inspirations or sketch challenges will help alot!
please leave some advice, references, or inspirations to help me get back into the groove.

(oh and im product design)

good for fundamentals and working your way up from there.

Sketchy- post images. Hard to say what would really help. Obviously sketch more to loosen up. I try massing volumes and then correcting perspective, or using sparth’s techniques of detailing blotches to shake up my regular techniques. Either that or you could try doing some sketches using your Solidworks screenshots as underlays. That usually generates a bunch of different surface details and intersections.

uhhh, start here and go through all 64 pages.

Mindless doodles during class:

For doodles I don’t think these look bad. Just keep practicing and you will get better.

ya man the look pretty good to be honest…you try using markers at all?
