What questions should you ask a prospective manager who is going to be your boss?
I might ask:
What inspired you to get into design?
How would you best describe the team you are building?
Where do you see me in that mix? How I could grow in the next 5 years?
What do you value in design? Could you sum up your philosophy on design, the design process, and the product development process? What defines good design to you?
Who does you report to? (A marketing person, an engineer, another designer, or a business focussed person?)
