Industrial grade felt as upholstery

I’m looking for a textile for use as an upholstery material for institutional furniture applications. This material not only needs to be extremely abrasion resistant and easily cleaned however it also needs to adhere to cal 133 fire regulations. Unfortunately most textiles that pass the above criteria are pretty ugly. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Industrial felt. I’m pretty sure it will adhere to cal 133 because of its high wool content. but I’m iffy on its ability to be cleaned and its abrasion resistance. On the McMaster Carr site it states that it is “extremely” abrasion resistant but I am unsure if that is only once it has been impregnated with resin which I am obviously not going to do.
