Personally, the mean pay for a MDes or MDM (with 5+ yrs experiance prior) seams really low for the Chitown area…about 20k less than what I was offered w/o masters and only 3 yrs experiance at the time. It is also 35K less (high end) than a friend makes at one of the mentioned employers with 5 yrs and an Mdes from U of I.
