After looking into ID programs I see that different schools put emphasis on different areas. I have read people mentioning ID programs that are art based vs. more engineering based.
What schools ID programs would you name as more engineering based?

I can attest to this. Being an Auburn ID graduate, I was able to attend our IDSA conferences and see three contrasting programs that focus on 3 different areas:
SCAD- Very artsy; Very loose and conceptual work that sometimes overlooks functionality.
Ga Tech- More engineering based; Tends to focus alot on functionality and not as much on aesthetics
Auburn-Focuses alot on methodology/ergonomics/anthro.; Its an even mix of aestheitics and engineering but puts alot of emphasis on the user.
All three can be good schools if you choose the one that focuses on the direction that you want to take.
