hey all,
I’m an interior designer, living in beirut-Lebanon.
I would like to study ID .
i would like to know where is the best place to study and practice and getting working experience… in the states or canada or in europe??
taking into consideration the opportunities after the graduation, the compitition, the market…
since i have a 5 years BFA in interior design will i have to study full 4 years to get BFA in industrial design or they will look at common courses??
thanks all[/b]
Depending on the school, they will most likely be able to put you on an accelerated path, possibly cutting out one or two years. That is something you will have to negotiate with the school. There are no hard and fast rules, so depending on your skill level, you may be able to negotiate more or less. Some ID BFA’s are 5 years, so look for that.
As far as place, it seems more of a personal preference than a professional one. All three have pros and cons, lots of good schools and opportunities.
