Draw a tiny circle with no stroke, and fill it with black.
Press option-8 in a text box if you have mac.
I am with PC and trying not to use a shape. I am trying to find a font bullet so it can be grouped with other text content.
Â· Hold down the Alt key while typing 0183 on the numeric keypad of your keyboard. (You can figure these keycodes out with the handy “Character Map” application that comes with Windows. Launch it via Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map. Highlight the character you want and it will tell you the keystroke in the bottom right corner.)
Â· In Illustrator use the type>glyphs tool palette, double click the bullet glyph.
To make it faster, do one of the above methods and copy the bullet symbol to the clipboard, then just Ctrl-V (paste) them wherever you need 'em.
Or try holding down the alt key, and pressing 0149 for a bigger bullet.
