how do you go about applying for this d.school? what are the requirements? i went on the website and it doesnt show any admission information. is this a grad school?
it’s both undergrad and grad. you apply by filling out the undergrad application and designating that you’re applying for design when it prompts you for your major.
there is no portfolio required, although you can send in additional materials if you’re really strong in an arts area. they admit based on academics and extracurriculars, the same way they admit to other undergraduate programs.
as a last piece of information-- the regular decision deadline has passed for this year, but it’s generally in early december, so if you’re considering it for next year, you’ll need to get your act together a lot earlier than you might think.
