Well,
ok! so, it comes the day that you believe that you have a great idea (ok, ok, everybody thinks that he/she has great ideas… ) and you want to search teh potentials of commercialization of your idea…
first of all there are manufacturing issues. you have found a comapny that is working with the material you are dreaming to use and in fact they appear to be very good. how do you approach them? will they pay attention to a grad student? what about intelectual property issues?
and then? supposing that your design CAN be produced. then? do you approach companies to sell the concept but also the “know how” of your product?
do you dare to produce it (at least some pieces that can brather expensive) and try to become the entrepreneur of your idea?
