Hi all, what are your thoughts on commission of work? Ie-Design something for a company you are paid salary, and then for every complete “one” that sells to the client, you get a cut. Is this something that happens in anyone’s industry? I work in retail merchandising and POP. Just a thought. Let me know!

not a chance if you are on salary. as a consultant, perhaps with a royalty agreement, but theory and reality are often quite different. search the boards for “royalty/royalties” and i’m sure you’ll find a bunch of old threads discussing the issue.

bottom line: pretty much forget about it.
