Hey everyone, we are looking for another ID intern at frog SF… not just any intern, the best. Please, I love you all, but don’t apply here, or send me a pdf to my personal email. Apply through coroflot:

Also, for your reference, here are the portfolios of our current intern, and our two preceding. You are going to have be as good or better at the things these lads are great at.

Current intern:

Past:

Cool, I posted this to our UC facebook group. I’m guessing this is for the Winter semester.

Also, cant seem to find the actual job posting on the Frog website.

Cool, thank you. Yes, for January.

Should be an “interns” link there on the site?

Just as a matter of interest, does Frog hire interns every year?

Usually… but you have to use a lower case “f”

Hi, I’m from the U.K, so I was just wondering if you need to have authorisation to work in the U.S to apply for this?

(also, do you know if any of the E.U studios will be looking for new interns soon? )

thanks!

You will need a Visa, but a student Visa is typical for an internship.

I’m not sure about the EU studios. Munich and Milan both have ID.

@yo Hi Michael,

I applied on the frog site and I really hope to hear back from you and your recruiter. I am recently graduated from Emily Carr in Vancouver and no longer a student. Given this and the fact that it’s an internship would the TN Visa work?

Also, I visited your site and ended up digging through all the content there. The sketches and breadth of work are baffling and epic and the tutorials are so on point. I shared a link to your site for my design blog readers. From what I can surmise you are really a good senior designer to work with. It pleases me to see some people giving back and helping the next generation of minds perpetuate the profession. Really cool.

Have an inspiring day,

I had several TN1’s. As long as you have the ID Degree, employer letter (stating pay, job description, and length of stay), CDN passport and no prior offenses with CBP/DHS you should be fine. They just need the letter (with Frog letterhead) signed and dated. Having Nexus also helps as it states you’re a trusted traveler.

I figured as much. I read more about it and the neat thing about this TN visa is that you can get it at the border. No need to wait at the consulate. Thanks for the info and the good wishes.

The good thing is, it’s now 3 years and renewal indefinitely (better than H1B) in some ways. Best thing to do is go to Truck Border Crossing as they are more experienced and shorter lineup than Peace Arch.

The word “Internship” in the US is a loaded term. It comes with a specific visa and requirements. As an intern your seen by the government as someone who was recently/currently a student learning to then go back to their respective country for a period of time. There is an application process involved that takes roughly 4 - 6 weeks.

The TN to my knowledge is only for a regular design contract.
