Just a question about what and how to charge people when freelancing in web design. I’m pretty new to the whole freelancing design thing so I don’t know a whole lot
I’m going to be doing a web page for these women who run a clothing store out in Oakland. They want something pretty basic that lets people know where they are and what they offer. It’s a small business with no other stores around Oakland or the Bay Area so it’s fair to assume they don’t have a huge budget but they seemed pretty excited by the idea.
So my question is how should I charge them? Since I won’t be working on the web page itself in their presence can I charge an hourly rate? Is there one price I should be quoting them? What is the average price for this type of thing?
Any help would be appreciated
Edit: Anyone know the answer here?
