has anybody ever done this kind of thing using solidworks? I’ running 06, but I can’t seem to figure out how to set up a scale for this type of drawing. Please help. thanks
open a new drawing file. make sure you’re on sheet not sheet format. you can check that in feature tree. go to insert drop down menu insert >drawing view>empty.
now you should have a view “block” defined by a square when you put your mouse it’ll highlight. click on it. in the feature tree a diag box opens that has a scale option. check the custom scale. enter the ratio.
