I will be graduating in industrial design, B.A. by Oct 2006, with my dissertation planned to be on shoe design.I want to work my final project with a company.
for example geting a proposal subject or design brief or somthing like this from a company and do it for them. How can I do this?

First off congrats on making it through school…Thats great. Second, it will be extremely hard to get a brief from a company unless you intern or do a co-op. You should look at the top three companies and see where the gaps are in their footwear lines and great a project around that. Its not enough to just “do a shoe” you should use your remaining chance to explore with out boundries to your advantage. Once you get in the grind of a 9 to 5 you may or may not have the time or the opportunity to create freely. So do it now! Take care and let me know if you need further help…
