R/C pro am and Ivan Stewarts Super off-road were personal favorites too. I love the reality of Gran Turismo et al. today, but I miss those games where you viewed the cars from an outside perspective too.
Yes! I call Raiders!
Bo Jackson was untouchable in that game.
Man I didn’t know you could get all those games on the Wii, now I want one!
LOL…yes!
Oh man that brings back memories. Good stuff.
Definitely portables.
I’ve always loved the Gameboy franchise. I’ve owned them all, plus a bunch of the old Nintendo “Game & Watch” LCD handhelds from the 1980’s.
Console’s are cool, but my wife can only watch me play Super Paper Mario for so long… (PS, that is one weird game.)
my wife and i have been taking turns on paper mario for like a week now…
yeah… its wierd fosho…
If I play Paper Mario too long my head hurts… it’s friggin hard. Definitely helps to have a partner!
all this talk and no one brings up Mario Cart for the N64… man we had to make our own rules because we all knew how to cheat too good! Not to mention the board with records on it!!!
Bond was the bomb- I put people in retirement… partially how I got my call sign.
And lets not even bring up memories of drinking games… my liver is still slapping me around for those!
I have an N64 hooked up in our guest room for the sole purpose of playing Mario Cart and Golden Eye… 2 of the best games ever!
We can’t forget the Calecovision console with the controllers with keypad and small joystick.
I’m big on racing games and Pole Position takes the cake here. Gran Turismo HD will be the reason for me to get a PS3, but the PS3 does have motion sensing in the controllers - I was using it to control the real time trajectory of arrows and canonballs in the Heavenly Sword game that my brother has. It works decently well and fun.
Mario Kart for Wii! i have to wait till April!! nOoOoO!
Here is another blast from the past: Road Rash!

I remember playing this constantly in middle school/high school. I really didn’t get out enough.
