I was just wondering about the fashion program at Parsons and what it entails? I do not know how to sew (is that required?) but I really do love fashion; though I’m not sure if my passion for it is based on this superficial ideal from magazines and pictures… I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight as to what the four years entails besides the ‘hard work’ aspect? Are there many available jobs considering the number of people who are in the program? Thanks!
I don’t think knowing how to sew is a prerequisite, but you’ll obviously have to learn. I’ve heard good things about the program at Parsons, but I think FIT would be the better place in the city.
